Each presentation is expected to have an author registered for the conference. The publication of a manuscript in the conference proceedings requires that this contribution has indeed been presented at the conference.
Oral Presentations
Where and when
All oral presentations will be given in Ballroom A+B. A detailed schedule for the sessions and their oral presentations can be found under preliminary programme.
Guidelines for Oral Presenters
Oral presentations must be prepared as PowerPoint or PDF file on a memory stick or CD. All presentations will be downloaded on the existing computer in the meeting room.
- The presenting author must check in at the Registration Desk.
- Please give the memory stick or CD with your presentation to the Session Chair or Conference Assistant for downloading at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.
- Five minutes of your allocated time should be reserved for questions.
There will be the possibility for ICNMTA participants to view your presentation on the conference website after the conference provided you agree. You will be asked for your agreement when downloading your file on the computer in the meeting room.
Poster Presentations
Where and when
All poster presentations will be given in Ballroom C. The Poster Session I is scheduled for Tuesday, July 27, and the Poster Session II for Thursday, July 29, both between 15:40 and 17:40 It is expected that the presenting author is available for questions and discussions at his/her poster during that time. A detailed list of the contributions assigned to these sessions can be found under preliminary programme.
Two poster prizes, one for each session, will be awarded to the best posters regarding scientific content and quality of presentation.
Display Times
- All posters are on display for two days giving the participants plenty of time to study them. For this purpose, please set up your poster as early as possible (see below).
- Set-up: Posters for Poster Session I should be placed on the poster boards on Monday morning. Posters for Poster Session II should be placed on the poster boards on Wednesday morning.
- Take-down: All posters must be removed from the boards directly after the corresponding poster session. Any posters remaining after 18:00 of that day will be disposed of.
Guidelines for Poster Presenters
- The presenting author must check in at the Registration Desk.
- All posters will be pre-assigned with their poster number as listed in the abstract booklet and this number will be posted in the upper corner of the display board.
- The size of a poster board is 1.2 m in width and 1.5 m in height. Items necessary for setting up the posters, such as pins etc., will be available at the Registration Desk.
- When preparing your poster, please keep in mind that it is typically viewed from a distance of at least 1 m. Choose an appropriate font size! Furthermore, your poster should present your experiments and results in way that does not require additional oral description.
